CONDITION – DEFECTIVE

A defective iPhone 15 may be totally damaged, have had water damage or other liquid damage, or have a battery that can no longer charge so that the device does not start up. Damage to both the front and back is allowed, but Biometric ID or Face ID must work without problems.

The device is defective if one or more of the following points apply

• The device has a broken screen or back
• The device has battery problems or cannot be charged
• The device has malfunctioning Face-ID, touch-ID or other biometric sensors
• The device has software problems or cannot activate
• The device has other functions that do not work
• The device must not have been exposed to liquid
• The device must not be locked with Apple ID
• The device must not have been reported missing, lost or stolen

CONDITION – WORN

A worn iPhone 15 may have damage to the screen, back, camera, battery or other parts, but must not have been exposed to liquid damage. Biometric ID or Face ID must work perfectly. The device may have messages about unknown spare parts, such as an unknown screen message or unknown battery message.

The device is worn if one or more of the following points apply:

• The device has a broken screen or back
• The device has battery problems but can turn on and has a capacity of over 70%
• The device has problems with, for example, the camera, speakers or the like
• The device’s Face ID or Touch ID must work
• The device has scratches in the screen or nicks in the frame/back cover
• The device must not have been exposed to liquid
• The device must not be locked with Apple ID
• The device must not have been reported missing, lost or stolen

CONDITION – GOOD

An iPhone 15 in good condition may have normal signs of use and a battery that is worn (not below 89% capacity). All other functions of the device must work flawlessly. Biometric ID or Face ID must be fully functional. There must be no reports of unknown spare parts.

The device is in good condition if one or more of the following points apply:

• The device has an intact and functional screen and back
• The device may have superficial scratches on the screen and back
• The device does not have any software or hardware errors
• The device turns on and battery capacity is above 85%
• The device has a functional camera, speakers, charging port etc
• The device’s Face ID or Touch ID must work
• The device must not have been exposed to liquid
• The device must not be locked with Apple ID
• The device must not have been reported missing, lost or stolen

CONDITION – BRAND NEW

A brand new iPhone 15 can be a replacement device or a brand new device in original packaging. In rare cases, it can also be a device that has just been put into use, but not for more than 72 hours. The device must be free of defects, traces of use or defects.

The device is like new if one or more of the following points apply:

• The device has an intact and fully functional screen and back
• The device has no visible scratches in the screen or nicks in the frame or back
• The device does not have any software or hardware errors
• The device’s Face ID or Touch ID must work
• The device is fully functional and battery capacity is over 90%
• The device must not have been exposed to liquid
• The device must not be locked with Apple ID
• The device must not have been reported missing, lost or stolen

In order for Apple Repair to purchase your device, it is necessary that ‘Find My iPhone’ on iCloud is disabled. If you cannot access the device, this can be done via the Apple website. Apple Repair reserves the right to refuse the purchase of phones with IC chip faults or other motherboard-related problems.
