CONDITION – DEFECTIVE
An iPhone 15 Plus is considered defective if it has been subjected to extensive damage such as liquid or drop damage. It may have a dead battery that prevents startup. The screen and back may be broken, but important functions such as Biometric ID or facial recognition should work without error.
The device is defective if one or more of the following points apply
- The device has a broken screen or back
- The device has battery problems or cannot be charged
- The device has malfunctioning Face-ID, touch-ID or other biometric sensors
- The device has software problems or cannot activate
- The device has other functions that do not work
- The device must not have been exposed to liquid
- The device must not be locked with Apple ID
- The device must not have been reported missing, lost or stolen
CONDITION – USED
A used iPhone 15 Plus may show signs of wear, such as scratches on the screen or back, minor malfunctions in the camera or battery. The device must not have had liquid damage. Biometric ID or facial recognition must work flawlessly. The device may display warnings about non-original components such as screen or battery.
The device is worn if one or more of the following points apply:
- The device has a broken screen or back
- The device has battery problems but can turn on and has a capacity of over 70%
- The device has problems with, for example, the camera, speakers or the like
- The device’s Face ID or Touch ID must work
- The device has scratches in the screen or nicks in the frame/back cover
- The device must not have been exposed to liquid
- The device must not be locked with Apple ID
- The device must not have been reported missing, lost or stolen
CONDITION – GOOD
An iPhone in good condition may have superficial scratches from use and a slightly worn battery (minimum 89% capacity). All other features, including Biometric ID or facial recognition, must be fully functional. There must be no warnings about non-original parts.
The device is in good condition if one or more of the following points apply:
- The device has an intact and functional screen and back
- The device may have superficial scratches on the screen and back
- The device does not have any software or hardware errors
- The device turns on and battery capacity is above 85%
- The device has a functional camera, speakers, charging port etc
- The device’s Face ID or Touch ID must work
- The device must not have been exposed to liquid
- The device must not be locked with Apple ID
- The device must not have been reported missing, lost or stolen
CONDITION – AS NEW
An iPhone 15 Plus in new condition can be a replacement device, factory new in original packaging, or a device that has only been used for up to 72 hours. This device must be free of defects, traces of use or defects.
The device is like new if one or more of the following points apply:
- The device has an intact and fully functional screen and back
- The device has no visible scratches in the screen or nicks in the frame or back
- The device does not have any software or hardware errors
- The device’s Face ID or Touch ID must work
- The device is fully functional and battery capacity is over 90%
- The device must not have been exposed to liquid
- The device must not be locked with Apple ID
- The device must not have been reported missing, lost or stolen
In order to sell your iPhone 15 Plus to Apple Repair, the “Find My iPhone” function must be deactivated. This can be done directly on the device or via Apple’s website.
Apple Repair reserves the right to reject units with errors on the IC chip or other serious errors on the motherboard. Stolen phones that are attempted to be sold to us will be reported to the police.
